Son of Former NKR Defense Minister Involved in Car Mishap

This morning at around 11, a speeding BMW smashed into a billboard pillar at the intersection of Sayat-Nova and Nalbandyan Streets. Luckily, the car’s air bags saved the driver from serious injury. Before traffic police arrived on the scene, the driver removed the car’s license plates. The young man seen in the green tracksuit, the son of former NKR Defense Minister Samvel Babayan, tried to prevent photo-journalist Gagik Shamshyan from taking any pictures. The green attired son of a former official backed off when the traffic cops arrived.
