New Committee to Monitor Spring Military Conscription

RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan has decided to set-up a committee to monitor various aspects of the spring military conscription. The body will not only ensure that the process is transparent and above-board but that it will reply to queries sent in by draftee family members, Gegham Harutyunyan, President of the Social Council attached to the Defense Ministry has been appointed to head the new committee. The Defense Ministry says the committee will be open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturday from noon till 4pm and that the office will be located at the Ministry itself.
