"Golden Grape" Gets Tax Break from Government

The government today waived custom duties for the firm "Golden Grape Armas" for an estimated $300 million in imports between the period May 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011. The firm will now have till May 1, 2013 to make payment. The firm has drated an investment plan to modernize grape growing and the production of cognac in Aragatzotn Marz. New equipment costing 5 million Euros will be imported and the firm estimates that eighty new jobs will be created.
