Police Impound Cars Driven by Graduating High School Students

On the last day of school. Yerevan traffic cops began impounding vehicles driven by students graduating from local high schools. As many might not no, this practice is a rite of passage, if you will, for male tenth graders leaving school. It is preferable that the boys drive fancy foreign cars and jeeps, in order to impress their friends. While police warn parents not to turn over the car keys to their kids, most still do. And if the kids drive like their parents, well, readers should look both ways before crossing the street, even if the light is green.
