At a meeting today, the Armenian Government decided to offer state support for the renovation of Gyumri’s Octet Music School N 6, for which an allocation of 10 million drams will be made to the Shirak Regional Administration. The Rock Aid Armenia/Armenia Grateful 2 Rock project organized by the Mediamax agency plans to renovate this school, for which the Armenian Relief Fund has opened a special account.  The proceeds of 18 million 327 thousand AMD from Ian Gillian’s charity concert in Armenia in March have been transferred to this account. Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan has said that there are plans to organize a Rock Against Genocide festival in Armenia, at which many international musicians have agreed to perform.
