Georgian Literature Week in Armenia
"Georgian Literature Week" kicked off in Yerevan on June 7. A similar festival is taking place in Georgia, dedicated to Armenian literature, for the fourth year. Both events are designed to priase and promote cultural collaboration between the two nations.
Maghvala Gonashvili, Presaident of the Georgian Writers Union, has arrived in Armenia to take part in the discussions and seminars. He heads an eight member delegation comprised of various writers, poets, translators and literary critics. A reception will be held in Gyumri on June 10 for Gonashvili’s collection of poems entitled, "Tears of the Sun".
