The RoA Chief Prosecutor’s Office has levied criminal charges of tax evasion and smuggling against the founding director of the "Milena Development Foundation. The charges allege that in 2006 the Foundation declared 9 million AMD worth of freight imported into Armenia as "humanitarian" cargo when in fact it wasn’t; thus avoiding the payment of 3.9 million in taxes.
