Lake Sevan's Waters Rising .36 Meters Per Year
An advisory meeting, presided over by RoA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, focused on the rise of the surface water in Lake Sevan. Over the last eight years, the lake has been rising by .36 meters on average per year.
The Presidential Commission On Lake Sevan was tasked with drafting a schematic of what the lake would look like in twenty years and ways to resolve the problems arising from the rising waters.
