In two days, the "HayART" cultural center will launch an exhibition of five contemporary painters and one poet around the theme, "Is the mission of art to shape the soul?" The artists scheduled to attend, painters Vardan Tovmasyan, Kamo Nigaryan, Vahan Roumelyan, Garik Karapetyan and Hamket Hovsepyan, along with poet Vahan Vardanyan, will attempt to provide their personal views on the theme. Vardan Tovmasyan was the inspiration and founder of the Young Painters’ Center in Armenia in the 1980’s.
