Under the auspices of the RoA Ministry of the Diaspora, a symposium will begin today in Tzaghkadzor on the state of western Armenian language instruction in the diaspora. The symposium will run till July 5. Experts from the United States, Canada, France, Lebanon, Turkey and other countries will gather to identify the problems and issues now being faced regarding the instruction of western Armenian and to come up with possible resolutions. Special attention will be paid to the preparation of textbooks that best reflect contemporary realities and values.
