Donate millions and get memorialized in stone According to the website of the RoA government, 21 million AMD ($57,000 US) has been allocated to the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs towards the construction of a "Walk of Fame" of noteworthy Armenian benefactors. The plan is to erect statues of these individuals in a stretch of parkland in Yerevan. We as yet do not know how much money an individual must donate in order to be eligible for a stone likeness to be erected in his or her honor. As if Yerevan green space isn’t scarce enough, the government has come up with another way to chip away at it.
