NKR Celebrates 19th Anniversary of Independence

 
NKR President Bako Sahakyan visited the War Memorial in Stepanakert on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of Karabakh’s independence.President Sahakyan and his official entourage laid a memorial wreath at the tombstone symbolizing the thousands who gave their lives in the struggle for Karabakh’s independence and at the grave of Artur Mkrtchyan, the first president of the country. President Sahakyan then paid a visit to the Stepanakert Army Hospital where he bestowed the Medal of Courage to army conscript Rudik Manaseryan, recently wounded during a skirmish with Azerbaijani forces on the frontline.
