The Armenian premier of the video "Mayrik", dealing with the destruction of Armenian cultural monuments in western Armenia, will take place tomorrow at the Narekatsi Art Center at 7:30pm.

Shot in western Armenia and Paris, the video is accompanied by medieval Armenian songs performed by modern instruments and sung by the Armenian singer Rozi. Grigor Narekatsi’s "The Book of Lamentations", translated in French is also recited by the French singers Jifa and Devon.

Over 20 artists from Europe and Armenia collaborated in the making of the video.
