Dilijan Police report that a Gayaneh Mnatsakanyan, a mother of two, had committed suicide by hanging in the early morning hours and that her son and daughter, in their mid-20’s, attempted to do the same.

The two were taken to the Dilijan Medical Center for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Police have launched a criminal investigation.
