The winners of the October 2 "Young Chemists’ Competition" have been announced. Seven teams from schools around Armenia participated in the highly charged contest that challenged the pupils regarding their knowledge of chemistry. Taking 1st place was the "Evrika" team from Vanadzor, followed by the "Gitounik" team from Yerevan and the "Erudite" team from Stepanavan. Davit Sahakyan, Executive Director of the "Ayb Foundation" remarked at the closing ceremonies that the organizers were very pleased that the event caused such much excitement and that more teams were expected to participate next year.
