Four Deaths Due to Mushroom Poisoning
Be careful what wild mushrooms you pick and eat. That appears to be the message culled from recent statistics stating that so far this year 32 individuals have fallen ill from eating poisonous mushrooms. Four died as a result.
Incidents of mushroom poisoning were reported across Armenia – Kotayk, Lori, Ararat regions and Yerevan.
You’ll know if non-edible mushrooms have been ingested if you come down with the following – upset stomach, vomiting, dizziness and digestive disorders. Botulism can also result from the improper storing and canning of mushrooms and other edibles.
