RA President to Visit India in 2011
On November 10 Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian started his visit to India. In Delhi, Minister Nalbandian had a meeting with the Vice President of India, Chairman of the Upper Chamber of the Indian Parliament, Mohammad Hamid Anasari.
Greeting the Armenian Foreign Minister, the Vice President of India said his country intends to take practical steps to develop relations with friendly Armenia and the visit is a good opportunity to sum up the progress registered in bilateral relations and work out new programs.
The Vice-President of India and the Armenian Foreign Minister discussed the steps to be taken towards deepening of bilateral economic and cultural ties, the opportunities of development of cooperation in the spheres of high technologies, education, culture, agriculture and healthcare.

11, FM Nalbandyan met with his counterpart Indian
Foreign Minister Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna.
Mr. Krishna said that Indian-Armenian relations have a rich an ancient tradition and that India looked forward to deepening and expanding relations with Armenia.
In response, FM Nalbandyan said there were no existing problems between the two nations, but rather a host of factors that link the two. He added that the two nations shared the same or similar views regarding regional and global issues.
The two ministers signed an agreement that would facilitate a visit to India by the Armenian president in 2011.
Mr. Nalbandyan will travel to Calcutta tomorrow where he will meet with the Governor of West Bengal and representatives of the Armenian community.
