Yesterday, Armenia’s Rule of Law Party, a junior government coalition partner, recalled Gerasim Alaverdyan as RA Minister of Agriculture. Party press secretary Sousanna Abrahamyan told Hetq that Artur Baghdasaryan, Chairman of the Rule of Law Party had reviewed the performance of its three ministers – transportation and communication, agriculture and emergency services. While Alaverdyan wasn’t singled out for criticism, he was sacked nevertheless. Abrahamyan said the party would name his replacement by January 10.
