The Tavoush "Tesankyun" online news service reports that Colonel Sergei Karapetyan, who was recently fired from his post and arrested on suspicion of involvement in the death of a civilian at a military base near the north-eastern town of Ijevan, has fathered several children out of wedlock while serving at various military installations. "Tesankyun" claims that two such children now reside in the town of Noyemberyan and that former Colonel Karapetyan never saw to their welfare after the mother died. The site says that another girl fathered by Karapetyan is now working as a bartender in a Noyemberyan cafe.
