At the initiative of Sergei Kapinos, Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, a meeting was arranged between Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan and representatives of several foreign embassies and international donor organizations in Armenia. It was an opportunity for newly elected Mayor Karapetyan to present his plans for the future and to outline changes to Yerevan’s municipal governance. Mayor Karapetyan expressed the hope that cooperation between his office and international structures operating in Armenia would be constructive.
