During its round-the-clock sit in at Liberty Square in the shadow of the Yerevan Opera House, the Armenian National Congress (HAK) will also launch a series of public forums on a variety of issues.

The forums, to be held between 3 and 6pm, will allow Armenians to express their views on a number of pertinent socio-economic, cultural and political issues.

In the past, HAK has been criticized by some circles for not providing a vehicle whereby ordinary Armenians can express their views. Many have said that HAK takes a top-down approach in this regard.
