Back in 2007, a criminal case was started regarding the looting of a water treatment facility in Vanadzor. Today, Shahen Tonoyan, Head of Public Relations at the Prosecutor General’s Office told Hetq that the case was being closed since the whereabouts of the suspect remain a mystery. When we asked Mr. Tonoyan for the name of the person being pursued for over three years, he balked, saying the investigative unit doesn’t regard such a move at this time to be appropriate.
