
At a working meeting of the "Film and Society" project today, Sarah Ross, a professional in the field of broadcasting and communications, spoke about how documentary films could be effectively used as a public relations tool and to spread the word regarding various social issues.
The meeting with Armenian film makers took place at the Armenian Cinematographers’ House in Yerevan. Ms. Ross also spoke about the impact of new technologies on film making.
The "Film and Society" project is part of the 9th Annual British Film Festival organized by the British Council in Armenia.
Sarah Ross has worked with a range of organizations including Channel 4, BBC, Amnesty International and the Channel 4 BRITDOC Foundation.
