Policy Forum Armenia supports Raffi Hovannisian's hunger strike as a way of demanding urgent political change in Armenia. The usurpation of power and large scale mismanagement of the country's present and future can no longer be reversed by political due process and requires unconventional methods. We salute Mr. Hovannisian for his courage and determination and wish him the best of health and perseverance to help him cope with the challenges of building a stronger Armenia in the future, once the short-term barriers to its progress are dismantled.
