22 March 2011 will mark the first week of Heritage Party chairman Raffi K. Hovannisian’s “Fasting for Liberty.” And in connection with this, a meeting of quiet support for Hovannisian will begin the same day, at Liberty Square, at 12pm. At 1pm, Raffi Hovannisian will hold a press conference. At 5pm, when the Armenian National Assembly’s parliamentary statements are made public—and considering Liberty Square as an important arena for returning power and the right of speech to the people, and transferring one of their immediate functions to the people’s realm—the MPs of Heritage’s parliamentary faction will make their statements from Liberty Square. And at approximately 6pm, Raffi Hovannisian will express his words of appreciation to those present. Participation in this event and support for the mastery—yet again—of the rights and liberties is the civic duty of us all.
