Today, Judge Mkhitar Papoyan will review the petition to jail Major-General Hovhannes Tamamyan, recently fired as the Head of the RA Criminal Investigations Department, for a period of two months. Tamamyan and Varuzhan Adamyan, the former Police Chief of the Arabkir District, were both removed from office at the behest of Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan on February 26 for conducting a flawed criminal investigation.
