The RA Office of the Human Rights Defender stated today that its representatives are making periodic visits to Raffi Hovannisian, now on hunger strike in Opera Square, in order to check on his status. The statement says that HR Defender Karen Andreasyan is keeping abreast on the situation at the square and has been informed that a tent, heater and other necessities are in place for MP Hovannisian to continue his protest action in tolerable conditions.
