Heritage Party leader and former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian called on those attending today’s protest against the mandatory pension system to turn “their words into deeds” with the ultimate aim of establishing a constitutional democracy free of current President Serzh Sargsyan.

“You know that however correct the “Dem Em” movement has operated so far, it is on the brink of a transformation. Whatever the decision of the Constitutional Court on March 28, we must be ready to put down all our banners and raise the Tri-Color,” Hovannisian urged.

“The people are calling for us to unite and rid ourselves of this government. To all my supporters and detractors, those who have until now been lead by fairytales, I tell them the time is come to discard those fairytales and go forward with force and with these young people to have an Armenia without Serzh [Sargsyan],” Hovannisian said.
