Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia (RA) Seyran Ohanyan today met with German Bundestag member Dr. Karl Lamers and German Ambassador to Armenia Reiner Morell, reports the RA Ministry of Defense. 

The parties discussed Armenian-German bilateral cooperation and Armenia's cooperation with NATO. The German delegation mentioned the importance of a partner such as Armenia for NATO, especially within the framework of actions maintaining peace and stability.

On the matter of regional security, the Armenian defense minister reaffirmed Armenia's position that negotiations are the only path to conflict settlement and any coercion by force is doomed to failure.
