Artsakh's Shoush Village to Get Community Center by Year's End
The Hayastan All Armenia Fund reports that work to construct a community center in the viilage of Shoush, located in the Askeran region of Artsakh, will be completed by the end of this year.
The center in Shoush, population 610, will house the village municipal office, a computer room, library, and first aid unit.
Donations from the Fund’s French affiliate and Artsakh government have made the center a reality.
A hall to hold events and other celebrations will be built adjacent to the center.
A new school was built in 2004 with financial donations from the Fund’s Detroit branch.
