Armenia’s Central Bank, in a statement released today regarding recent fluctuations in the international currency markets, says it will take all possible measures to stabilize a weakening AMD.

The Bank argues that while it regards such fluctuations are short-term in nature, it nevertheless calls on citizens in Armenia not to engage in currency speculation.

The Banks says it has sufficient foreign currency reserves to weather the storm.
