New School Building in Akhalkalak

Georgian press reports state that Georgian Education Minister D. Shashkin recently visited the town of Akhalkalak and presented residents with the blueprints for a new school building to replace the N3 Georgian School.

Nartsis Karapetyan, who heads the Akhalkalak Educational Resource Center, told Hetq that the present school was in need of serious repair and that a decision was adopted to build a new structure.

There are five schools in the town of Akhalkalak – 3 Armenian, 1 Georgian and 1 Russian.
