Armenian Parliament Prez Calls for Minute of Silence to Honor Fallen Artsakh Soldiers
Before getting down to business today, Armenian National Assembly President Galoust Sahakyan called on legislators to stand for a minute of silence to honor Armenian soldiers killed and wounded during recent intensified fighting on the Artsakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact.
“If peace is incomprehensible to our conspiratorial neighbors through the language of negotiations, then we are ready to explain it through another language, and this has been proven many times by our combat-ready forces. This will cost them dearly. Sadly, as a result of the enemy’s recent attempted incursions, we have suffered losses,” Sahakyan told legislators.
