On April 1, Armenia’s Judicial Department purchased a $31,000 2016 Nissan X-Trail from Megna Ltd., a company owned by the family of ARF MP Karen Shakhmuradyan.

Karen Shakhmuradyan owns 8.33% of the company and his brother Ashot the same amount. Their mother, Lousya Ter-Sargsyan, owns the remaining 83.34%.

Karen Shakhmuradyan, who entered the Armenian parliament last month, declared cash holdings of 25 million AMD, US$84,000 and 7,000 Euros.

While the MP only declared 8 million AMD in revenue, mostly in the form of wages, he has made loans of 153.4 million AMD and $400,000.
