MP's Disregard VP's Calls for Order
At today’s reconvening of the Armenian National Assembly, it appeared that the MP’s had no intention of following the instructions from Samvel Nikoghosyan, the parliament’s VP.
Nikoghosyan urged MP’s to keep their voices down several times during the session but the legislators kept up the commotion, exiting and entering the hall at will.
Several MP’s left the session after Nikoghosyan, filling in for Hovik Abrahamyan who recently resigned as President of the National Assembly, demanded silence for a third time.
As this goes to press, there are only a handful of legislators remaining.
