A mobile exhibition commemorating the 125 anniversary of the birth of national hero Garegin Nzhdeh visited Syunik Marz on April 26-27, stopping off in the town of Kapan where the famous Armenian’s remains are interred.

The exhibition, part of a series of commemorative events organized by the National Library of Armenia, was headed by National Library Deputy Director Rafik Ghazaryan. The delegation from Yerevan placed flowers at the Nzhdeh Memorial in Tatev.

Tatev is also the site of a seminar taking place on the life and activities of Garegin Nzhdeh who was born in Nakhijevan in 1886 and conducted a series of military campaigns in the Zangezour region of Armenia.
