Ashot Arsenyan, a Candidate for Armenia's Parliament, Declares $4.5 in Cash
Ashot Arsenyan, a member of Armenia’s parliament since 2003, is running for reelection on the Republican Party of Armenia ticket to represent parts of Syunik and Vayots Dzor.
In his financial disclosure, Arsenyan declared 1.6 billion AMD (US$3.4 million) and $48,000 as revenue for February 2, 2016 – February 2,2017.
Arsenyan received a 207 million AMD loan from his son Vahagn and a 210 million AMD gift from his wife Gayaneh Mkrtchyan.
The longtime MP also declared 253 million AMD and $4 million in cash, for a total of $4.5 million.
He owns a 77% stake in Jermouk Group and a 50% stake in Jermouk Hydrotech.
Arsenyan owns four properties, including an apartment in Yerevan and Jermouk.
He drives a 2013 Mercedes-Benz E250.
