Police in the Yerevan district of Davtashen have identified the individual responsible for cutting down 23 trees as Aleksan Samsonyan, director of the Delfin swimming pool.

Samsonyan has been detained for questioning.

The damaged trees are located on Aghababyan Street, just across from the swimming pool that been operating since 2007.
