Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian discussed regional affairs with his Syrian counterpart Walid Mohi Edine al Muallem in New York today on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly.

The Armenian ministry reports that Nalbandian wished for a speedy resolution of the conflict in Syria, noting that Armenia has, according to its limited resources, provided humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people.
