Government to Provide Free Transportation for Remaining Two Pupils in Metzadzor School
The Armenian government says it will provide free transportation for the only two pupils in a school, slated for closing in the Yezidi-populated community of Metzadzor, to attend classes in the neighboring village of Nerkin Bazmaberd.
The government decided to close the school and thus save AMD 13 million.
MP Roustam Makhmoudyan told Hetq that an arrangement had been reached with the Armavir Provincial Governor to provide transportation for the two pupils.
Roustam Makhmoudyan informed Hetq that starting from February 9, there's a regular transportation to Nerkin Bazmaberd for the two pupils from Metzadzor.
