
Iranian Energy Minister: Lower Gas Price to Armenia is Possible
Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan met today in Yerevan with Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian to discuss economic and cultural bilateral projects.
Ardakanian is in Armenia to attend the 15th Joint Economic Iran-Armenia Commission session.
The Iranian minister said his country is ready to increase gas exports to Armenia, adding that the price of that gas could be lower than supplied by Russia.
He said Iran’s Petroleum Ministry and Armenia’s Ministry of Energy will soon hold talks on the issue.
