
Lieutenant General Wants to Build Hydro Plant in Stepanavan
A company 50% owned by Mikhail Grigoryan, a former Armenian deputy defense minister and commander of the joint Armenian-Russian military unit, plans to build a mini hydro-electric plant on the Tashir River in the Lori town of Stepanavan.
Stepdzor Ltd. has already filed a water usage permit request with the environment ministry.
Lieutenant General Grigoryan, a Stepanavan native, shares control of the company with Gourgen Hakobyan.
