Organizers of the protests now taking place in Yerevan have denied police charges that they are prompting demonstrators to engage in illegal actions and have called on law enforcement to protect the safety of those peacefully exercising their constitutional rights as citizens.

The “My Step” and “Reject Serzh” initiatives released a statement today describing police charges that rally organizers are somehow instigating illegal actions as ludicrous and false.
