Government Issues Pay Notices to 15 Natural Resources Extraction Companies
Armenia’s Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources has sent notices to fifteen companies engaged in mining and other extraction operations in Armenia informing them that they have ninety days to pay the balance of their state fees and payments to an environment preservation fund.
The ministry sent the notices after reviewing information provided by the State Revenue Committee and the Ministry of Nature Protection.
While the names of the fifteen companies haven’t been published, they risk losing their extraction permits if they fail to make the payments before the ninety day deadline.
