A Yerevan court today freed Sasna Dzrer defendant Aram Manoukyan from detention while his trial continues after nine MPs provided the court with personal guarantees that Manoukyan would not flee prosecution if released.

Two of the nine MPs are from the Yelk Alliance and seven from the Tsarukyan Alliance

Inessa Petrosyan, a defense attorney in the case, told Hetq that the two Yelk Alliance MPs, Hayk Konjoyan and Alen Simonyan, paid a bond totaling AMD 1 million.
