
Hrazdan Municipal Council Accepts Mayor's Resignation
The Hrazdan Municipal Council today unanimously accepted the resignation request of town mayor Aram Tanielyan.
Tanielyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia who has served as Hrazdan mayor since 2002, says he’s stepping down given the political changes in the country and to allow other, younger people, a chance to engage in public service.
Council Press Secretary Alvina Zakaryan told Hetq that the new mayor’s name will soon be announced.
