Yerevan’s iconic television tower will get a new paint job on September 19.

The 312-meter tower was built in 1977 on Nork Hill overlooking downtown Yerevan.

It is said to be the tallest structure in the Caucasus and the second-tallest tower in west Asia.

The old tower it replaced was moved to Gyumri, where it still functions.
