RA Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan has instructed his Passport and Visa Department (Ovir) to issue Igor Ghahramanyan an Armenian passport.

The new head of Ovir, Hovhannes Kocharyan, today met with Ghahramanyan and told him to bring his military discharge papers and a photo.

This turn of events comes after Hetq covered the story of Igor Ghahramanyan, a former orphanage resident and veteran of the Artsakh War, who had been fired from his job for not possessing an RA passport.
