Hovsep Hovsepyan was born on February 21, 2000. The boy was born healthy and the parents say that due to the careless attention of the doctors Hovsep experienced a serious intestinal illness. According to the medical specialists, Hovsep’s condition was unstable and there was little hope that he’d survive. Hovsep’s grandmother took the boy to the Saint Sargis Church in Yerevan. She made an oath not to cut the boy’s hair for seven years, just so long that his health would return. The boy recovered. When Hovsep turned seven years old he was blessed in the same church. Later on they took him to the barber shop.
