Sevag Mikayelyan has been elected the new mayor of Hrazdan.

Mikayelyan, a member of the Civil Contract party, won 66% of the  10,681 votes cast in today’s election.

Levon Stepanyan, the other candidate in the race, garnered 4,819 votes.

762 ballots were invalidated.

Voter turnout was pegged at 36.7%
